Welcome to Georgetown School of the Arts and Paint Draw & More!

Georgetown School of the Arts (GSA) is an artist-driven educational space open to all.  The Art School holds classes for all ages and all experience levels.  GSA is the studio and hub for onsite studio classes, Paint Draw & More after school classes and Masters and Mixers painting parties. Our classes, workshops, camps and art parties are created by local artists and teachers who wish to share their knowledge and experience with students interested in broadening their knowledge in all forms of fine and craft arts. We offer a wide range of classes to whet the appetite of all those with a desire to begin or continue their art education. One-on-one attention is also available through private instruction. Fine arts include drawing, painting, watercolor, printmaking and sculpture. Crafts include weaving and woodworking. GSA course schedule can be found under the Courses and Registration tab above.

Paint, Draw & More (PDM) provides art classes and summer camps for children throughout Fairfield County, CT. Our skilled artist instructors bring all drawing projects and materials to the after school location Our classes include art instruction in drawing painting, sculpture and design. Artistic concepts like perspective, shading, and composition are all taught. Classes are held for young artists in area public schools, private schools and parks & recreation departments as after school and enrichment art lessons and summer camps. The PDM class schedule can be found under the above Paint Draw More tab.

Masters & Mixers (M&M), a social painting and wine experience. Learn to paint, return to painting and paint with friends while creating a personal work of art inspired by a featured painting. A wonderful way to relax, socialize, sip wine, listen to great music and be creative. Great for private parties, birthdays, girl’s night out, bachelorette parties, and corporate and benefit events.

  • Thanks so much!. He LOVES it. I hang his art all over the house. It really is lovely to see him choose the blank paper over the pictures to color in from coloring book and watch what he creates. You have really inspired him. Thanks so much!

  • Dear Sue, I wanted to write and thank you for my son's recent art class. As a preschooler, he was very enthusiastic about "doing art" but he seemed to lose that in kindergarten art class. I'm glad to see you were able to reinfuse that love of creativity with your class. I was very impressed by the results I saw him bring home, and how he described what he used (and also his newly gained knowledge of art materials and how they produce different results).

His work was so much more creative and freer than what he produced at school. I'm glad he thinks art is fun again. Thank you for an enjoyable experience for my son.

  • Susan is wonderful! I’ve taken two semesters of weaving loom classes with her at her studio. She truly is gifted at her craft. She individualizes her instruction for each student, is kind, patient, dedicated, and very organized.  She even let me borrow the loom for an additional time period and gave me two mini lessons at no extra charge, when I missed several scheduled classes in a row. I’ll definitely be coming back!!! 5 stars
